The VIA Stewardship Committee was formed in response to issues that may significantly impact Terra Ceia, including the proposed cruise port project. Our goal is to keep this core group focused, informed, and prepared.
We are committed to doing our due diligence, working alongside legal representation and other organizations such as Suncoast Waterkeeper — and others as needed — to ensure we remain aligned with those who have our community’s best interests at heart.
We aim to provide clear updates as information develops and will call on our neighbors when broader involvement becomes necessary. After all, Terra Ceia is strongest when we stand together.

Quick Note from Ashley Bowling:
I want to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who helped or came out to support the Valentine’s Day “Save the Bay” event.
While not formally VIA-sponsored, the strong turnout and positive recognition from the participating organizations reflected our island’s commitment to protecting our surrounding waters, Terra Ceia and the unity we share.
With many moving pieces and important discussions happening behind the scenes, we remain committed to doing our best to help keep Terra Ceia protected, informed, and special — now and for generations to come.
