Meet the individuals guiding our mission and vision.
Bob and his wife, Tami, were married in 1992 and moved to Terra Ceia Island in 1994. He has been actively involved with the VIA since 1996, contributing to numerous fundraising efforts that support community initiatives. Over the years, Bob has served the organization in several roles, including Treasurer for multiple terms, and previously as President in 2011.
Bob graduated from the University of South Florida in 1982 and built a successful 40-year career in the accounting field before retiring in 2022. His professional experience and long-standing commitment to the community bring valuable leadership and perspective to the VIA.
In his free time, Bob enjoys sailing, live music and playing pickleball

Hi, I'm Ashley Bowling! My family and I have been lucky to call Terra Ceia our home since 2019.
I have previously served on the board for 2 years.
I’m a proud mom of three daughters and three dogs, and when I'm not chasing after them or playing chauffeur, you’ll probably find me out in the garden or hanging out with my chickens.
I love spending time outdoors and I’m always inspired by nature.
One of my passions is photographing birds and wildlife that I encounter along the way.
I have previously served on the board for 2 years.

I am a PMP-certified Project Manager with an MBA who leads complex healthcare and technology initiatives, guiding large-scale projects that improve operations and deliver meaningful impact. I have proudly called Terra Ceia home for over four years, where I live with my husband, Kyle, my stepson, Cast, and our dog, Oli.
Outside of work, I enjoy being involved in the Terra Ceia community. I am a member of the TCI Book Club, co-host monthly bingo nights with Kyle, and support neighborhood fundraising events that bring residents together. I also feel a deep connection to the island’s natural beauty—few things make me happier than spotting dolphins or manatees in the surrounding waters.
My professional experience, love of the island, and commitment to community connection inspire me to serve Terra Ceia as Recording Secretary.

Jordan Young, who is running for Treasurer, was born in Tokyo, Japan, and spent his youth living abroad in Asia and Africa. He was a commercial banker in the Tampa Bay area for 40 years, working with a wide range of not-for-profit organizations and homeowner’s organizations.
Jordan has had a home on Terra Ceia since 2021 and now lives there full time with his six dogs.
Born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, I love the small-town life! I have been married to my husband, Rick for 36 years, blessed with three daughters and five grandchildren, my favorite humans.
Very excited we are permanent residents here on Terra Ceia Island! Being on the board the past couple years, I have been able to meet so many of you, so blessed having such wonderful people to call my friends! Looking forward to many more years' here on “Heavenly Land”.
My husband, Chad, and I moved to TCI over 6 years ago and have loved living in paradise. We have an 8-year-old son, Ryan, and 3 cats that keep us on our toes. I am originally from Chicago and come from a big, crazy Mediterranean family; I am 50% Greek and 50% Italian. After playing basketball in college, I graduated from Florida State University with a Ph.D. in Counseling and School Psychology and currently own a behavioral health practice with offices in Clearwater and Sarasota where I work as a neuropsychologist.
I also currently serve as chair of the insurance committee for the Florida Psychological Association and am working on a bill to make insurance companies more accountable and mental health services more accessible. I am past president of the TCI VIA and started the group that built the playground at our park.

My husband Mark and I moved here from Arizona in 2013 and agree there is no place like Terra Ceia Island! We have 4 children and 9 grandkids, and they all love to spend time here, especially with all the kayaking, swimming, fishing, and boating to the beaches. Not only are we fortunate to live in a beautiful aquatic preserve with easy access to the water, but the sense of community here is unlike any other place we have ever lived. It is my commitment to this community and to helping us keep the Terra Ceia Aquatic Preserve safe for our children and our grandchildren that has prompted me to serve on the VIA Board as a director. I have been on the Board in the past as recording secretary, corresponding secretary, and treasurer. Thank you. See you on the water!
My name is Kim Vickers, and I am happy to serve as a member of the VIA Board. My husband and I have been married for 33 years, and we have two children, 2 grandchildren, and a spoiled Bernedoodle named Ruthie. We have lived on the Island since August 2021 and feel blessed to be able to live in a place like Terra Ceia.
I am originally from Ohio but have lived in Florida for 34 years. I am a graduate of Ohio University where I received my degree in Physical Therapy. I work full time as a Home Health Physical Therapist. Throughout my career I have worked in many settings including, staff therapist, pediatrics, traumatic head injury, outpatient, owned my own business, and managed all therapy services for a large continuum care retirement community. I have cultivated a strong background in leadership, team building, collaboration, finance, negotiations, and strategic planning. I know that these qualities will assist me in serving as a member of the VIA board.
My core values guide me in my decision-making process for TCI:
·Being a considerate neighbor and an active participant on the island.
·Respecting the environmental sensitivity of neighbors, including visual, auditory, and olfactory cues, to foster a harmonious community.
·Respect the opinions of others and keep an open line of communication to discuss issues or opportunities.
I am confident that my skills and experiences align with the needs of the VIA as well as the residents of the island. I welcome the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to the continued success of Terra Ceia Island. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve my community.

I am a retired veterinarian living the dream on TCI. My wife, Kimberly, and I have resided on the island for the past eight years.
I owned and managed a large veterinary practice in Pinellas County for 41 years. As the owner, I managed financial outlays, budgets, employees and capital improvements.
For many years I was on the board of the Pinellas County Veterinary Medical Association. I was also past president of the Pinellas Animal Foundation and the Pinellas County Animal Emergency Clinic.
We love living on the island, enjoying and participating in various island activities.
It would be a privilege and pleasure to serve on the VIA board.
